Some of my clients have lost 1-2lbs after a colonic, whereas others have lost between 6-7lbs. Colon hydrotherapy can also give you a flatter stomach, as it essentially cleanses the undigested food from your system. Just bear in mind that the weight you lose will be from waste only, not fat or cellulite.

Unfortunately, colonics are not covered by medical insurance. Some flex-spending healthcare plans do cover colon hydrotherapy. Check with your provider.

One cleansing removes some, the second, more. Your personal objectives will determine how many colonics you wish to have. To begin with, it is generally recommended to have 3-4 sessions within a 10-14 day period to maximise results in cleaning the length of the colon and getting that great reset.

You may see colon cleansing as a solution to an unhealthy lifestyle. Or believe a good flush of your system can help remove waste stuck to your colon walls. “Colon cleansing has been around for a long time," says Stroehlein. "Yet no evidence exists that it prevents disease or improves health.”
